Spring Carnival...?

We received Aliy and Allen's return drop bags from the Iditarod the other day and here are just a few of the booties that came back off the trail.

Meghan has spent hours sorting and drying them ready for training next season. She sifted out any that have holes or are no longer usable and will package the rest up, in sets of four, for next season. Doesn't it look festive?

Yet another behind the scenes look at all the chores us "Arm Chair Mushers" never even thought about!! Bootie Heaven!! Thanks for sharing!

Maybe you could send the "worn out" booties to dog sponsors. We could hang them in our homes next winter season!

I can guarantee that they look a lot more festive than they smell!

Good Idea Anonymous-I don't know what the postage is, maybe send C.O.D. but I think that's a great idea for the fans or supporters, at any rate great job Meghan!

One year after joining SP Kennel for the season, I received Homebrew's "card" and a black bootie with a hole in the bottom!!!

It is one of my prized possessions!!!
