Catching Up With Bonita

Bonita is one of the sassiest dogs in the yard!

Bonita is truly a sled dog, she likes to work and to run. She always races as hard as she can, every time she runs. She does enjoy pats and attention but would rather be on the trail.

Iditarod? Yukon Quest? She doesn't care as long as she gets to run.

(This video was taken earlier in the season; since then Bonita raced in the Yukon Quest 300 with Aliy and the Iditarod with Allen.)

Lauri from California-

Love the individual dog profiles. Keep them coming.

Update idea:
What 5-10 dogs have the most race miles on them this race season? Several seem to be standouts on multiple teams.

Also what qualities does a dog have to have for the Quest vs Iditarod? Some dog do both, others do not.

Wow.....Ms Bonita has lots of energy! I can see why she is happiest on the trail....focused and running....just what you want in a sled dog! I love these dog introductions....one of my fav sections of the Dog Log!

Thanks Aliy. I have been a big fan of Bonita ever since the day I accidently hitched her up in lead. She looked at me with big eyes that were trying to tell me that there were supposed to be other dogs in front of her. Of course, I had no idea what she was trying to tell me, until everyone started laughing at me.
