Winter Howler Is Out!

The Winter Racing Edition of the SP Kennel Howler is ready for viewing.

In this edition we give a rundown on the two races so far and a look ahead to the Copper Basin 300, Kuskokwim 300 and Yukon Quest coming up. We've also written about what exactly we mean when we say we are getting the dogs "race ready".

Good job as ever on the Howler. It is very professional looking. I liked the stories. Great picture of Sam.

Question: I noticed on the Kuskokwim website that Allen was listed as a musher. Was he originally going to do this race?
Question: What do you think about a link to past Howler editions?

Thanks for this great "Howler" edition! Can't wait to see which dogs are in which races.

Thanks for making the time to write the "Howler" during a time that surely is busy with the race training. I especially enjoyed learning what you do to get the dogs ready for racing. I'm certain you could have bolded and underscored the need for "patience" of both dogs and humans to get everyone race ready!
