Iditarod 2010: "Aliy Cam" Into Unalakleet

One last video for you from this camera chip of Aliy and the Team running into Unalakleet. The first part is shot about 30 miles out and Aliy shares her views of the beautiful scenery and the different kinds of trail markers along the way. The last part picks up after the Team has slogged through a ground blizzard. Aliy recounts her efforts on behalf of the dogs, swapping race time for their safety.

I had a tough time hearing the narration through the muffled layers of cloth, but the video spoke loudly.

These videos have completed so many missing images of what Western Alaska looks like.

Enticing, enchanting, and as Jack London would point out, dangerous to those lacking in imagination.

Thank you for your videos and able to share them as you mush down the trails.This has got to be one of the best Iditarod in your face videos.Awesome.With so many fans this year hook up on facebook with different mushers,this is great.
