Bridgett is Allen Moore's youngest daughter. She got her first sled dog, Grizz - a red Siberian with a curly tail - when she was 7 years old. The family was very supportive of her dreams and they soon had a "dog yard". She began to race and competed in the Alaska junior sled dog races. She and her sister, Jennifer, even competed for "Team Alaska" in the Arctic Winter Games in Yellowknife, Canada. Bridgett's love for dogs and mushing has never faded.

Bridgett now lives in Nome, Alaska with her husband, Scotty, and her infant son, Timber. She is a registered nurse and works with many of the villagers in the Bering Strait region of Western Alaska.
The Watkins family enjoys outdoor adventure. They spend much of their free time exploring the vast lands of Western Alaska by boat in the summer and snow machine in the winter. They hunt, trap and fish and provide for their family off the land.
Bridgett is truly an athlete and ran the Interior Alaska Equinox Marathon. She keeps a full house with her two Retrievers, Remington and Tuvak, and a retired SP Kennel sled dog, Girlfriend.
Bridgett has raced the Red & Black Team the last five years.
