It's never easy...

We went out on an ATV this morning in order to make sure the trails were clear of fallen trees and brush. There has been a major wind storm in Interior Alaska for the last 24 hours, so we thought we would be 'responsible' and check out the trails prior to hooking up 14 dogs. But things don't always turn out like you think they should…

The ATV broke down with THREE flat tires. While retrieving the ATV -- which sat a mile down the trail from the kennel -- the trailer got ONE flat tire. At least the truck made it back with four inflated tires!

One of those days you think maybe I should have stayed in bed.

And Allen is dressed as though the colder air moved in! Yah...now for some snow on those trails. Then you wouldn't have to worry about no stinking tires!

Well, at least you did not have to worry about flat tires on the dog crate there. What a day! I am sure tomorrow will be a better.
Take care.

It's nice to know we are not the only ones that have these days.

Ha ha ha Aliy know the feeling. Out for the first run of the season. Got 3/4 of a mile hit something on a plank bridge.............. flat back tyre on the dog scooter. Went out with a spare wheel from my nephew on the 3rd run didn't even get started... flat tyre. Now I have replaced the inner tubes so here's hopping now the temps have dropped below 50f. Musing season has truly started in Scotland & we had the first snows up in the mountains too.
happy Musing
