ID: Ceremonial Start in Pictures

I thought you might enjoy a few pictures from the Ceremonial Start earlier today.

L-R: Aliy and the Red Team at the start line; heading down 4th Avenue

L-R: Bib #19; Allen and the Black Team on the trail

I have video from both Meghan and myself riding the tag sleds and I will work on editing and uploading this afternoon. I'll get that to you as soon as I can. We also are very lucky to have here with us SP Kennel friends Jen Nelson, who captured those great Yukon Quest images, and Barbara Swenson and they're going to share some shots with us later too.

I checked out the Iditarod web site and saw a video, "Check out these eyes." Could this be Olivia?
At any rate, we send best wishes to Aliy, Allen and crew for a fabulous race. Our fingers are crossed that it's a safe one. Tonia and Herb, California

Wishing this is Aliys year to win, she worked hard enough for it and not only her but her dogs look great. It shows that she takes great care of them. Her and Allen are so professional.
