CB300 - Dropped Dogs #2

A quick update on further dogs that didn't cross the line. They are still considered part of the team and the race is recorded on their race histories so even if they didn't quite get all the way they made an important contribution.

Izzy finished the race in the truck. Izzy worked so hard and earnestly for Aliy that she just got dehydrated and started getting some muscle cramps at Tolsona. Aliy really wanted to take her all the way to the finish but she will certainly get more opportunities, she really impressed on her first real test.

Izzy and Outlaw

Meghan left Outlaw with Wes and Josh at Lake Louise. He was tired and didn't look himself although there was nothing specifically physically wrong with him. Meghan trains Outlaw a lot and is quite fond of him so she can easily spot if something is not quite right with him. He ate a big meal later on and will enjoy his sleep tonight.

Again, a huge thank you to the vet team. You rock!

Woof, woof, woof!!!

Wise moves! Quite a few experienced mushers scratched, and it is wonderful to know that the SP Kennel future stars are being looked after so well!!!
