Catching up with: Beemer

We thought it about time we caught you up with what each of our team is up to this season so we've started a new regular segment: The Skunk's Place Bunch.

First up is Beemer! Many of you already know Beemer - he's a Rock Star!

Aliy says not only did he have "a ridiculously good year last year, we couldn’t have asked for anything better from him" but also, as you will see in the video, that "he is really good at kissing!"

Do you have a favourite "Beemer" moment?

Very nice!... Made even better by the background dogs: Viper sitting and wagging his tail on the snow; Tatfish always on the move of course!

My favorite Beemer moment ever:

I recognize those kisses.
Everyone of Beemer's pups tries to lick me right in my mouth. At 4 months, they are still so sweet & doofy looking! We love you...

SUPERGREAT: The Skunks Place Bunch plus themesong!!!

ChaCha and Oddball's five year old son Beemer - I had no idea that he was so emotional - maybe we should give him a nick-name - call him "Beamer" as in sunbeam!

BEEMER beems with sunshine . Loving and belonging he is yours and stands for you. A volunteering hero friend holding nothing back, wishing to be close, cheering you and encouraging you to enjoy just beeing alife. A treasure. How lucky can you get to have him at your side?

Hey Mac, that video of the Beemer pickup is my favorite, too. It was my introduction to SP Kennel, my first Iditarod Nome volunteer stint in the dog lot....you and Bridgett made me a fan that day. Thanks for the fun and see you all in Nome. Deb in Ketchikan

Hey Deb! -- Looking back at our Beemer pickup on that day in Nome... You must have thought BJ and I were just a little dog crazy, right?... Now you know that everyone at SPK appreciates every dog as an individual, for their performance at any level, and as a beloved member of the family... So, in other words, we really are dog crazy!... Here's looking forward to a truly "crazy" year!... Best, Mac
