If you had lifted the camera a bit, would we have seen Allen's feet over the arm of the couch? Sure hope so! It must be exhausting for everyone.
When folks in the city talk about being on a Quest, they really have no idea at all, do they???
You are all so amazing at what you can accomplish....a true inspiration to the rest of us!

Congratulations to all the YQ mushers and dogs. Congratulations to Allen (and Brent and Mike) on the three way Sportsmanship award. What a pleasure to watch (even if it was from the computer). Deb in Ketchikan

Congratulations! Allen, Aliy, and Ryne and your support team! Job well done! Have been glued to my computer for almost 2 weeks. Now, hopefully, I can get caught up on work (and sleep) before the Iditarod. Loved seeing all the pictures of the teams especially (of course)Dingle. I never thought that sponsoring a beautiful Alaskan Husky would be so stressful! I am so proud to be a little part of a team that is so respectful of there beautiful canine athletes! Mush On!

Allen was actually upstairs in bed during that photo shoot!
We have a busy week ahead. The Iditarod Dog Health checks are on Tuesday - EKG's and full Blood/Chem panels for each prospective athlete. Wednesday Beemer and Chica go to the Vet Office. Then each dog must be examined by our personal Vet one week before the Iditarod starts. We hope to catch any minor sickness, malady or potential problems.

Every time I see handsome Dingle, I reflect fondly on our "special" time together... What a fantastic dog... and roommate!
