Photos of Allen arriving in Central

These are photos of Allen arriving in Central today. Hard to believe there was a whiteout not 7 miles away!

As I write this it's 11:29 AM EST where I am, making it 7:29 AM in Alaska - I imagine at this very moment you are doing the exact same thing I am doing (and all the other SPK fans too) - OBSESSIVELY updating the SPOT tracker page and zooming in to see every foot of progress over Eagle Summit

88 feet
27 feet
52 feet

Go Dogs! Go Allen!

I can't wait to see that he's over the summit!

Kaz, thanks again for all the photos and great info about what's happening at the checkpoints. I hope Aliy has you locked under contract for the Iditarod...

Cute comment by Kelly about Allen wanting to buy her lead dog. He is such a gentlemen, but she has run this race before and has dogs on her team that know if they just go a little farther ...

The SP team did great - absolutely wonderful. I am so proud to be a sponsor.
