Allen on Trail to Two Rivers

Allen left the 101 Dog Drop at 1:55 pm AST with all 10 dogs. His sole purpose is to get to the finish line with a happy, healthy dog team. If he needs to camp between points to do that, he will. On this leg of the trail, he will be making the final summit of the race, Rosebud. Although it is not as high or as barren as the other 3 mountains, it is still a very challenging climb.

There will be a video of Allen at 101 up shortly on YouTube. I will put it up as soon as I can. We are heading up to the Two Rivers Store to see Dallas, Sebastian and Ken go by. Should be there with in the hour.

Allen and the Black Team,

Wishing you a Snoopy Happy Feet dance for the rest of the race.

I admire your accomplishment in finishing the race happy, healthy and ready to run again.

If I was there at the finish line, all doggies would get the biggest hug known to dogdom.

Will it be a challenge to get PAST Two Rivers and on to Fairbanks, being as Two Rivers is Home??? won't they want to stop?

We hope it won't be that challenging. Allen has practiced going by the kennel many times in the last months with these same dogs. He took the team on the Two Rivers Check Point to Fairbanks run 3 times in the weeks leading to the Quest. Hopefully, they will realize that is what they are doing.
