Skunk’s Place (SP) Kennel is a premier sled dog racing kennel in Two Rivers, Alaska. We are dedicated to the individual dog through excellent health, nutrition, training and specialized care. We strive to make this Dog Log the most educational and entertaining internet source on sled dog sports.
Three teams left the starting line and three teams crossed the finish line. That in and of itself is quite an accomplishment. SP Kennel should be very proud of all members (mushers, dogs, handlers and Kaz) involved. You all did a great job!
BTW: I found this little Aliy interview nugget. Not sure how long ago the interview was given but it is a good read.
Our Natural Extremes Mushing Adventure Trips will head back to Arctic National Wildlife Refuge this coming season. In March and April 2012, after Aliy completes her 12th Iditarod, the dogs and mushers will begin their adventure trips North. Aliy and Allen will continue to share their knowledge and love of the Arctic on these unique adventures. Whether you are interested in a workshop on dog mushing or a trip to the finish line of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog and scenic lands beyond, contact us! You will be challenged to see the world in a different way.
